Editorial Policy
How the library selects sources, writes routes and corrects the record.
The Quarterdeck Library publishes original, source-led editorial routes. The aim is to make a book, record or research question easier to approach, not to manufacture authority or reproduce another publication.
Editorial standards
Pages distinguish between a catalogue record, a primary source, a reference work and a practical recommendation. Precise claims are linked to an appropriate source or expressed with caution. Corrections are welcomed and checked before publication.
Historical paths
Historically cited URLs are kept where their topic can be renewed with original, rights-safe guidance. The visible page answers the continuing reader question and does not reconstruct unavailable copy.
